2018 Domaine Serene, Mark Bradford Vineyard
Pinot Noir
Overview
Notably one of Grace Evenstad's favorite wines produced by Domaine Serene, the 2018 Mark Bradford Pinot Noir is a remarkable expression of the Pommard and Wadenswil clones planted to the 11 acres of west-facing Jory soil. Once thought impossible in the early days of Oregon Pinot Noir to plant on the west-facing slopes of the Dundee Hills, the Mark Bradford Vineyard is now thought of as one of the finest vineyards in the world, producing a complex and concentrated wine with structure and superb age-ability.
This highly-sought, limited-production wine is exclusively available to Gold Eagle Members. With notes of dark plum compote, cherry tobacco, and a hint of coffee, the well-integrated tannins and open middle palate produce a wine that will be highly sought after in years to come.
