The Montagny region of Burgundy is dedicated to the production of Premier Cru Chardonnay, and its limestone-rich soils yield impeccable wines of sophistication. The 'Knights Templar Cuvée' Chardonnay merges finesse and minerality to offer a tensioned acidity balanced with a creamy mouthfeel. This exemplary wine delivers richness and elegance, with a punctuated mineral essence that lingers exquisitely into the finish.

Like its Pinot Noir counterpart, the Evenstad Reserve Chardonnay utilizes clonal variation and site-driven diversity to deliver a wine of superior quality and consistency from vintage to vintage. It is the flagship wine of our Chardonnay program.

Yamhill Cuvée is named for the county where all of the Domaine Serene Estates are located. This signature blend includes grapes from the Dundee Hills, Eola-Amity Hills, and Yamhill-Carlton AVA's. It is consistent and approachable, with a textural profile that is vibrant, silky and persistent.

"r" is a delicate, dry style rosé artfully blended to achieve a graceful balance of freshness and richness along with an array of exotic fruit characteristics. This fascinating blend delivers on aromatic complexity, flavor intensity and textural balance.

Jerusalem Hill is a single vineyard expression from our lowest elevation site, and our only Estate located in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA. It is a richly aromatic, spicy and structural wine.

To make Grand Cheval we take the best characteristics of two very different varietals, Syrah from the Walla Walla Valley, and our own Pinot Noir grapes from the Dundee Hills, and blend them in perfect harmony to create our own version of the ideal “steakhouse wine.” This wine is substantial enough for the richest of dishes, yet soft enough to please any palate.

Mark Bradford vineyard is a high elevation site located on the west facing slope of the Evenstad Estate. This single vineyard wine offers a layered aroma profile of brooding dark fruits and spice with a powerful, firmly structured, and rich mouthfeel. Mark Bradford is named after Ken and Grace Evenstad' son and was the first Pinot Noir vineyard planted at Domaine Serene.

Named for owner, Grace Evenstad, Grace Vineyard is an east facing site on the Evenstad Estate with deep soils and a gentle slope. This single vineyard expression is a truly elegant wine that is smooth and plush, multi-layered, has elegant tannins and a long, refined finish.

Récolte, the French word for "harvest", is a hand harvested, barrel-fermented Chardonnay made from the finest selection of Domaine Serene Estate fruit.

Coeur Blanc® is an extremely special and limited production white wine made from fully mature 100% estate-grown Pinot Noir grapes. It is full-bodied, aromatic white wine that offers balanced acidity, a creamy texture and a silky smooth finish.

The venerable Château de la Crée estate in Santenay, Burgundy dates back to the 15th Century, when it was owned by Nicolas Rolin, chancellor to Philippe the Good and founder of the Hospices de Beaune. Today the Château’s vineyards include seven rare Premier Cru blocks located entirely along the renowned Côte d’Or escarpment, home to some of the world’s most storied Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines.

Located just east of village at elevations around 900 feet, Clos Faubard is a small vineyard of less than ten acres with soils that combine Jurassic rock, clay and limestone. This wine exhibits a complex nose of spices and ripe fruits, with a robust combination of black fruits, stone fruits and spicy notes—supported by well-integrated tannins—that carries through on the generous, almost fleshy palate.

Clos de la Confrérie is our own unique “monopole” parcel, nestled in the heart of Santenay-le-Haut. Its western exposure, 25 to 30-year-old vines, and terroir of gravelly-clay soil and sandy subsoil produces concentrated Pinot Noirs of great structure and density, with a distinctive spiciness.

Although recognized for its graceful Pinot Noirs, Santenay also produces intense, mineral-rich Chardonnays of great depth and structure. The Gravières vineyard lies close to the border of Chassagne-Montrachet, and may be the most prestigious parcel in Santenay. This intense, ruby-red wine showcases a floral, spicy nose with an excellent register of aromatics. Good balance in the mouth harmonizes both freshness and roundness perfectly, while bursting with fruit-driven energy.

The Beauregard vineyard is one of those hidden gems that reveal Santenay’s potential for magical white wines that offer a perfect equilibrium of body, elegance and mineral-rich complexity. This wine shows a deft touch of oak in its seductive bouquet, which complements and integrates with fresh aromas of ripe white and yellow fruits, and cut straw.

In Old French, “repaire” suggests the meaning of return to one’s own land and, by extension, a refuge or home. The Beaurepaire vineyard is located above the village of Santenay and has a soil composition of limestone and clay. This wine shows excellent weight and freshness, with lovely notes of exotic fruits and apricot on the palate. The nose is very expressive, with notes of citrus and exotic fruits, fern, hazelnut and butter.

Our small parcel of Chardonnay vines in the Charmes vineyard enjoys a gentle southeastern exposure at elevations above 800 feet. Rich, intense flavors of citrus and apple are the hallmarks of this elegant, handsomely opulent White Burgundy.

Our Montagny Premier Cru comes from 100% Chardonnay fruit grown in the limestone-rich soils that make Montagny the most highly regarded region in Burgundy’s Cote Chalonnaise. The palate is surprisingly rich, with alluringly spicy back-flavors that shine through.
