Coeur Blanc is a unique limited-production white wine made from fully mature Pinot Noir grapes. At harvest, 100% estate-grown Pinot Noir grapes from selected vineyard blocks are handpicked and carefully sorted. The grapes are then gently whole-cluster pressed, limiting contact with the skins so that only the purest essence or "white heart" juice is expressed. The resulting juice is barrel fermented in French oak, then aged on the lees for 14 months prior to bottling.
Tasting Notes: The 2016 Coeur Blanc shimmers beautifully in the glass, with a brilliant pale yellow hue. An alluring bouquet of cherry blossoms and confectionery aromas fill the air. The palate is focused and crisp with an essence of fresh ginger and Meyer lemon. An unbelievably classy wine, it delivers a polished mouthfeel with a long, lingering creamy finish.
