2017 Château de la Crée, Santenay Monopole Clos de la Confrérie Pinot Noir
New release – not yet rated.
Clos de la Confrérie is our own unique monopole parcel, nestled in the heart of Santenay-le-Haut in Burgundy. Its western exposure, old vines, and terroir of gravelly clay soil and sandy subsoil produces a brilliant garnet in the glass, with vibrant black cherry aromas, and black currant tinged with fresh-cut spruce on the palate.

This special release marks three decades of focus on high-quality wines form the Northern Willamette Valley - one of the finest places to grow and produce Pinot Noir. The art of blending has been the hallmark of the Domaine Serene winemaking program. It is this artistry that has made the ‘Evenstad Reserve’ one of the most awarded wines in the United States and a benchmark for Oregon Pinot Noir since its first vintage.
2016 Domaine Serene, Jerusalem Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir
93 points Wine Enthusiast | 93 points James Suckling | 94 points I.W.R.
Our Jerusalem Hill Vineyard is our lowest elevation vineyard and is located 16 miles south of the Dundee Hills in the Eola-Amity Hills. This vineyard is planted in Woodburn sedimentary soils brought into the valley during the Missoula Floods, 13,000 to 15,000 years ago. This combination of soil and elevation produces complex wines noted for dark fruit and spice.
