2014 Domaine Serene Etoile Vineyard

Etoile, the “sunset vineyard,” is located on the west-facing slope of the Evenstad Estate. This wine exhibits the most Chablis-like profile of our of Chardonnays. Brilliant in color, its hue is reminiscent of clean, fresh-cut straw. Expressive, its beautiful bouquet fills the air with honeysuckle and pea shoot layering slight almond undertones. Clean and complex, the palate is broad, round, and balanced showing generous flavors of honeycomb and quince paste. The acidity and weight are seamlessly integrated leading to a long, refined, mineral-driven finish.
