Domaine Evenstad Nuits-Saint-Georges Longecourts Vieilles Vignes 1929 bottle

Fall Collection - 2025

2022 Domaine Evenstad Nuits-Saint-Georges Longecourts Vieilles Vignes 1929

Nuits-Saint-Georges, a historic town central to Burgundy's winemaking tradition, lends its name to the Côte de Nuits and its renowned wine, named after Saint Georges. Its AOC, established in September 1936, includes the neighboring commune of Premeaux-Prissey, producing primarily Pinot Noir with some Chardonnay plots. The soils vary, with the northern sector featuring pebbly alluvium and silty deposits, while the southern sector has deep marly-limestone soils with rocky outcrops at higher elevations. The vineyards generally face east or southeast, benefiting from optimal sun exposure.
