2025 Fall Chevalier d'Or Wine Club Fall Collection

This fall marks a landmark moment in our story. We are proud to debut the inaugural vintage of Domaine Evenstad, our newest Burgundian wine collection and a lifelong dream realized by Grace and Ken Evenstad.

To own and farm vineyard land in the Côte de Nuits is both a rare privilege and a profound responsibility.

These vineyards are among the most historic and respected in the world of Pinot Noir.

With Domaine Evenstad, we are proud to introduce wines that reflect the elegance, complexity, and sense of place that first inspired our journey.

These wines are available exclusively through your membership.

A note from Grace Evenstad

After years of quiet dedication and thoughtful stewardship, I am honored to share with you the inaugural release of Domaine Evenstad. This is the newest addition to our Evenstad Estates family and the fulfillment of a dream Ken and I carried for decades.

Domaine Evenstad was born from our shared vision to craft Pinot Noir from the most iconic vineyards in Burgundy, with the same focus, integrity, and commitment to quality that built our legacy in Oregon. These wines reflect the elegance, complexity, and sense of place that first inspired our love of the varietal. The Côte de Nuits holds a very special place in that story.

Becoming stewards of this ancient vineyard land is a rare privilege that we acknowledge. To walk these vineyards, care for these vines, and now share their story with you is deeply meaningful to me. Today, approximately 15 acres across 11 climats in the Côte de Nuits, including two Grand Cru sites, are part of our estate vineyards.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Your support makes it possible for us to continue exploring and honoring these exceptional vineyards. I look forward to raising a glass with you.

As we introduce our Domaine Evenstad wines, we acknowledge the effects of the vintage as well. The 2022 vintage is best characterized by having abundant, high-quality fruit, with both red and white wines showcasing ripeness and balance. While challenges such as heatwaves were present, we used care to manage yields and create wines that display lovely freshness, approachability, and superb aging potential.

While crafting our Domaine Evenstad selections, we devote unparalleled care and attention. Each bottle reflects our unwavering commitment to quality and craftsmanship. As a valued member of our wine club, you enjoy exclusive access to these remarkable wines. We are delighted to share these limited offerings with you.

Meet our Burgundy winemaker

Since 2017, our winemaker Pablo Bosch and our viticultural team have worked closely with the Evenstads and the Domaine Serene team to implement techniques in the vineyard and the cellar to elevate wine quality.

The Château de la Crée winemaking team strives to continually combine innovative vinification techniques to accentuate the finest qualities of the legendary terroir found only in Burgundy.

While great wines begin with great vineyards, no detail is left unexplored throughout the winemaking process.  There is no cutting corners in our quest to craft the highest quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in the world.

CÔTE DE NUITS

The Côte de Nuits, named after walnut trees, boasts 24 Grand Cru vineyards and some of the world's most expensive vineyard real estate, spanning from just south of Dijon to the village of Corgoloin. Pinot Noir dominates the region, comprising 80% of its wines, with the remaining 20% consisting of Chardonnay or Rosé, particularly notable in Marsannay. These prestigious Grand Cru vineyards adorn the eastern slopes overlooking the Saone River valley, stretching from Gevrey-Chambertin through Morey-St-Denis to Vougeot and Vosne-Romanée.

CÔTE DE BEAUNE WINES

These Château de la Crée and Maison Evenstad wines, carefully curated for the Chevalier d'Or membership, are exclusive to your Fall shipment.

CÔTE DE BEAUNE

The Côte de Beaune is revered for its ethereal Chardonnays and expressive Pinot Noirs. This region is the beating heart of white Burgundy, home to the golden triangle of Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, and Chassagne-Montrachet. Yet the Côte de Beaune isn’t known just for white wine, as its northern stretches around Beaune, Pommard, and Volnay produce some of Burgundy’s most elegant and age-worthy reds, balancing depth with silken finesse. From its golden limestone soils to its centuries-old climats, the Côte de Beaune offers a tapestry of wine, history, and artistry, where every bottle tells a story of land and legacy.
