What do you enjoy most about your role?
Helping build sensory connection to the glass through wine history, theory, and craft.
What brought you into the wine industry?
It became the confluence of all of my passions: farming, gastronomy and traditional ways humans have worked with nature to achieve beauty.
What is your favorite wine?
There's something special about the vineyard Fleur de Lis, though I tend to have a more French (old world) palate.
What is your favorite way to enjoy wine?
I'm a firm believer that the occasion for a nice bottle can be made by its opening. I especially geek out over a dinner party food pairing, blind tasting with friends, or an evening porch sit.
What are your passions?
I'm passionate about my wife, daughter, traditional basketry, and my backyard.
