The Aloxe-Corton wine showcases a complex array of flavors including baked orange peel, clove, and coffee grain, with undertones of sandalwood and barrel elements of clove and smoke. Medium-weighted with supple tannins, it presents a down-to-earth character, highlighted by an earthy profile and a firm structure on the finish, while the fruit-forward palate reveals notes of plum, dark currant, and apple skin texture, surpassing the hints found on the nose.
