The 2022 Maison Evenstad Volnay Premier Cru Cellar Society Pinot Noir is composed of Taille-Pieds, Champans, Roncerets and Mitans. The Taille-Pieds parcel is located at the top of the hillside, with a white soil rich in small pebbles. The Roncerets and Mitans are composed of various clays and, the Champans soil is more chalky on the upper part, and deeper on the lower part. The result is fine, full-bodied, generous and powerful wines.

Expressive aromas of wild berries, dark fruit, and sweet cherry lead into a smooth, elegant palate with classic Volnay structure. Full-bodied and refined, the wine finishes powerfully with lingering notes of blueberry and vanilla.
