The Gravières vineyard lies close to the border of Chassagne-Montrachet and is one of the most prestigious Premier Cru parcels in Santenay, the southernmost village within the Côte d’Or. With southerly exposure and elevation ranging from 690-780 feet, the vineyard grows both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. The word Gravières refers to the vineyard’s gravelly soils, which are based on the classic Burgundian limestone-clay marl.

The 2022 vintage offers savory complexity with aromas of sun-dried tomato, green herbs, subtle salinity, and hints of red fruit. The palate is plush with structured tannins, earthy, and mineral-driven, leading to a long, refined finish. A perfect match for duck or lamb, where its subtle fruit and savory depth enhance richer dishes.
