Chambolle-Musigny, a village in the Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its limited and highly prized vineyard land. The area is home to two exceptional Grands Crus: Bonnes-Mares, which borders Morey-Saint-Denis, and Musigny, overlooking Clos de Vougeot, along with the prestigious Premier Cru, Les Amoureuses. Established as an AOC in September 1936, Chambolle-Musigny is one of the earliest French vineyards to receive this designation. The vineyards, situated on east-facing slopes at 250-300 meters, benefit from shallow soils over Jurassic limestone, with fissures that allow deep root penetration and excellent drainage from valley gravels.
