2022 Domaine Evenstad Côte de Nuits-Villages Grandes Vignes
These terroirs, recognized with the Village appellation in 1964, include the southern villages of the Côte de Nuits, with Corgoloin marking the border to the Côte de Beaune. To the north, the appellation includes parts of Brochon and Fixin, producing both red (Pinot Noir) and white (Chardonnay) wines. Wines from a single Climat can specify that name on the label. The vineyards feature gentle slopes with varied soils, including slightly limy brown soils, pebbly scree, and deeper alluvial layers, reflecting the diverse geology of the region.
