The Volnay appellation lies south of Beaune between Pommard and Meursault. During the 18th century Volnay was considered the finest wine of the southern Côte d’Or. It still enjoys a prestigious reputation among Burgundy aficionados today.
This wine is unmistakably Volnay: silken in texture, generous yet precise. Density and elegance hold each other in balance through its sense of place and beautifully stated finish.
