Tucked along the eastern edge of The Clubhouse at Domaine Serene lies a grove of oak trees lovingly named Grace’s Grove. Through the ancient oaks and scenic hillside, winds a meandering path that reveals views of distant vineyards and the occasional glimpse of Mount Hood.
After decades of dedication and passionate production of excellent wine, a desire to build a first-class facility where Domaine Serene’s cherished wine community could convene was born. Much like the ancient oaks that line the hilltop, Domaine Serene’s founders Grace and Ken Evenstad envisioned a clubhouse built to last centuries, and a place which would establish a sense of history within Oregon wine country. Grace requested the grove of oaks be preserved as a part of this timeless landscape. We invite you to take in the beauty of this natural sanctuary while you are here with us at the Clubhouse. Whether your are enjoying Grace's Grove as a self-guided walking tour or reserving one of the scenic spaces below, we hope that the oaks impart a profound sense of the history unfolding here at Domaine Serene.
Reserve one of these beautiful areas surrounded by some of the most picturesque scenery Oregon has to offer. Each space can be booked in one-hour increments. Your hourly booking fee is a credit which can be used towards wine, merchandise, or food. $500 for the first two hours and $200 for subsequent hours.
Wines by the bottle and by the glass are available for this outdoor experience among the vines.
Book your peaceful afternoon getaway in this picturesque spot tucked away in the Winery Hill Vineyards. Customizable to as little or as much privacy as you desire, our team will make your experience truly magical. Perfect for couples, casual gatherings of friends or groups who wish to social distance nestled among the vines.
While away the afternoon perched up high on our Jory Overlook viewing platform. From this vantage point, take in the ancient geologic occurrences that have shaped the vast surrounding landscape. Deep volcanic Jory soils are visible in the hillsides below, with our iconic Mount Hood seemingly floating above the rolling hills in the distance. Seating available for up to ten guests.
Ideal for larger groups, this gorgeous space seats up to eight guests comfortably. Views extend from the vineyards of our eastern neighbors in the surrounding Dundee Hills, all the way to the rolling peaks and valleys of the Cascade crest along the horizon. Savor the cool summer shade of our precious grove of oak trees while enjoying the company of your friends paired with great wines.
This lovely space is located just next to our newest block of vines here in the Winery Hill Vineyard. These Pinot Noir vines were planted in 2017 by our Gold Eagle Members, and will be ready for harvest in 2021. Closeup views of both the vineyard and the more distant Dundee highlands make this an exquisite spot to kick up your heels.
Please consider the outdoor environment as you prepare for your visit and plan accordingly. We do our best to provide a relaxing and safe environment for you to enjoy. However, Domaine Serene is not responsible for issues due to uneven terrain, bugs, poison oak or other natural occurences in a vineyard. Closed-toe shoes with a low heel are recommended. Domaine Serene branded outwear and blankets are available for purchase should you wish to apply your site credit towards this. Please stay on designated pathways whenever possible.
