A Note From Our Head of Winemaking & Viticulture
This season’s allocation provides a rare look at the individual components that bring complexity and structure to one of our most distinctive blends: Grand Cheval.
The 2022 Winery Hill and Jerusalem Hill Pinot Noirs are two of the core vineyard sources behind this Pinot Noir and Syrah blend. On their own, they show the depth and character of their distinct terroirs, from the volcanic soils of the Dundee Hills to the rich sedimentary layers of Eola-Amity.
Tasting them side by side is an opportunity to experience the building blocks behind a signature wine and to appreciate how each site brings its own voice to the final blend.
This is a thoughtful, vineyard-driven allocation designed to be opened and enjoyed now, just in time for the season of sharing and celebration.
We hope these wines bring moments of joy and connection to your fall season. May they accompany great meals, meaningful conversations, and the people who matter most.
