    Cellar Selection

"Abbey Oaks, with its restrained alcohol, silky acidity, and velvety tannins, feels like it’s gracefully pirouetting on your palate. The wine’s Bing cherry and vanilla bean aromas are complemented by wisps of smoky, earthy raspberry tea and anise. Closing the show in fine fashion are flavors of blackcap raspberry, espresso, cacao nibs, and a nicely bitter note similar to a rhubarb tart. Cellar Selection." —M.A.

  • Abbey Oaks Vineyard

    • Year Planted: 2012
    • Varietals: Pinot Noir
    • AVA: Yamhill-Carlton
    • Elevation: 220-320 ft
    • Total Acreage: 40
    • Planted Acreage: 28
    • Soil Types: Sedimentary Willakenzie

Our lone vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA has Willakenzie soils and well-exposed, south facing slopes. The wide array of clones sprinkled throughout the acreage creates deeply concentrated wines that showcase the mineral undertones of the sedimentary soil. Due to the angle of the slopes, this is one of our main warmer, early-ripening sites.
