At Domaine Serene, we are deeply committed to creating positive change and giving back to the communities we serve. For the fourth year running, we are proud to participate in a program we established called the Vertical Initiative. In addition to our long-standing partnerships, the Vertical Initiative was created to be an employee-led program to empower our staff to nominate charities to whom we gift.

We recognize that every individual has unique values and passions, and by involving our staff in the nomination and voting process, we ensure that our contributions align with our shared commitment to making the world a better place.

Through the Vertical Initiative, we have an opportunity to contribute to organizations that are near and dear to our employees' hearts to create lasting and meaningful change.

As we celebrate Giving Tuesday, we are thrilled to announce the winners of the 2023 Vertical Initiative.

Roots Foundation

1. Asociación Hispana de la Industria del Vino en Oregon y Comunidad (AHIVOY): Founded and led by successful Latinx wine professionals, AHIVOY provides education and professional development opportunities to vineyard stewards in the Oregon wine industry.

2. The Roots Fund: This nonprofit organization is dedicated to securing a pathway for the BIPOC community in the wine industry. The Roots Fund works tirelessly to create financial support for education, mentorship, and job placement opportunities, fostering inclusivity and equal opportunities for communities of color.

3. Women of the Vine & Spirits: This all-encompassing global mentorship organization is committed to pushing the wine, beer, and spirits industry toward a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive era. By supporting business development and innovation, Women of the Vine & Spirits empowers all individuals to thrive in the industry.

We are thrilled to highlight and support each of these worthy causes as they go above and beyond to create equity, diversity, inclusion and education for our industry and beyond. We firmly believe that when we work together to make a positive impact, we create a brighter future for all.
