Winemaker Tasting Notes

Black cherry, lilac, and tilled earth aromatics entice. Hints of spruce and raspberry cobbler unfold on the palate. Bright acidity, integrated tannins and a silky mouthfeel speak to the vineyard’s west-facing position on the Evenstad Estate at high elevation. This pleasing and multifaceted gem of a wine will reward even further with time spent in the cellar.

About the Vineyard

Fleur de Lis

Fleur de Lis Vineyard is located on the west-facing slope of the Evenstad Estate next to the Mark Bradford Vineyard. The vineyard’s northern exposure and rocky, thin soil results in an elegant and feminine Burgundian-style wine.
