Forbes recently shared a story that highlights United Airlines and Polaris Studio, their new, more spacious take on business travel. The article highlights a new wine program including a distinguished list of wine producers, including Domaine Serene, that have been on rotation for its discerning customers on the ground and at 30,000 feet.

The article offers a rare peek at what goes into pouring a bottle of wine at 35,000 feet. For wine lovers, the standout may be a perforated tasting card that lets guests request up to three pours and compare them side by side, turning a long flight into a chance to explore.

"The wine program was what had first caught my attention months earlier. As a longtime United 1K and Master of Wine candidate, I tend to notice when an airline starts pouring bottles I would happily drink on the ground. Over the past year, United’s Polaris lists had rotated through producers including Heitz Cellar, Stony Hill, Aperture, Domaine Serene, Catena, and VIK. There was no celebrity sommelier attached to the program and no splashy relaunch. The wines simply started getting better."

This recognition connects to something we've cared about since the beginning: introducing more people to Oregon wine and the Willamette Valley in a memorable way. Travel sparks curiosity, and a glass of Pinot Noir enjoyed somewhere over the Pacific might be someone's first taste of what makes this place so special. We're proud to be a partner of United Airlines and Polaris Studio.
