Recognizing that healthcare shouldn't be a luxury reserved for a few, Domaine Serene prioritizes supporting ¡Salud!, a groundbreaking program dedicated to providing accessible, no-cost healthcare services to vineyard workers and their families.

Domaine Serene’s Commitment to Vineyard Stewards

Domaine Serene has long championed this initiative, serving as both a host and major benefactor for ¡Salud!’s annual fundraising efforts.

1. Hosting the Annual ¡Salud! Pinot Party
   Domaine Serene frequently opens The Clubhouse at Domaine Serene in Dayton, Oregon, to host events like the ¡Salud! Pinot Party. This annual event invites wine collectors and enthusiasts from across the country to taste exclusive, barrel-select Pinot Noir futures poured directly by Willamette Valley winemakers.
2. Crafting Exclusive ¡Salud! Cuvées
   Each year, Domaine Serene crafts a limited-edition ¡Salud! Cuvée Pinot Noir: a rare wine produced in tiny quantities exclusively for the ¡Salud! Oregon Pinot Noir Auction. 100% of the auction proceeds go directly to funding mobile medical clinics, clinical staff, and preventative health programs.
3. Honoring Leadership in Philanthropy
   In recognition of their long-standing dedication to vineyard worker welfare, Domaine Serene founder Grace Evenstad was awarded the ¡Salud! Legacy Winemaker Award, acknowledging her extraordinary contribution to sustaining healthcare access across Oregon’s agricultural region.

More About ¡Salud! Mobile Healthcare in Oregon Wine Country

Founded in 1992, ¡Salud! is a clinical outreach program operating through the Hillsboro Medical Center Foundation (an OHSU Health partner). Its primary mission is to break down traditional barriers to medical care including cost, language, lack of insurance, and transportation for vineyard workers across Oregon's Willamette Valley.

Rather than expecting workers to take time off and navigate complex healthcare systems, ¡Salud!’s Mobile Health Outreach Program brings medical, dental, and vision clinics directly to the vineyards.
