The deep, garnet color of the 2014 immediately intrigues, offering a nose that shows strawberry compote and a streak of minerality. The palate opens with concentrated plum and black cherry fruit that leads to ample, plush richness. With a long-lasting finish, this wine is round and smooth, showcasing supple tannins. The antithesis of the 2012 vintage, with bigger berries resulting in more fruit-forward characteristics and a softness that can be felt.
