Like the finest grower Champagnes of France, ‘Récolte Grand Cru’ Blanc de Blancs is produced using the Méthode Champenoise. It is crafted with 100% Chardonnay grapes from our estate vineyards in the Dundee Hills of Oregon. The name ‘Récolte’ - the French word for ‘Harvest’ - pays tribute to our high-elevation Dijon clone Chardonnay vineyards planted in volcanic Jory soils. Having rested on its lees for over five years, this wine is a testament to our commitment to crafting world-class sparkling wines through consistent care and precision.
The nose on this wine is fresh ginger, with an earthiness element and baked apple spice. The palate is baked croissant and brioche, with honeydew melon and fresh-baked croissant notes. The finish has a lot of complexity and weight, compared to our other sparkling wines. This pairs well with caviar, crème fraiche or chicken and waffles.
