2016 Domaine Serene Two Barns Vineyard

Not Currently Available

Two Barns Vineyard is situated on the west side of the Dundee Hills of Oregon. This low elevation vineyard is planted in sedimentary soils of the Willakenzie series making Two Barns unique to the Dundee Hills AVA, typically known for its red Jory soils. This particular combination of soil and elevation produces dark fruited, brooding wines of intensity and power.

Winemaker Tasting Notes

The 2016 Two Barns Vineyard Pinot Noir begins with striking aromatics of roasted hazelnuts, candied orange rind and faint hints of baking spices. On the palate, layers of concentrated red cherries and raspberries are framed by a seamlessly integrated oak profile that provides an elegant richness to the mid-palate. With a long lasting finish, this wine is silky-smooth and showcases supple tannins and excellent structure.
