This 4th edition of 'Members’ Limited Edition' Pinot Noir has enticing notes of a darker fruit profile on the nose; including blackberry and allspice, reminiscent of a rich oolong tea. Upon tasting, the wine reveals a savory and leather-driven palate with remarkable balance of big tannins that provide structure while maintaining a beautifully plush texture. The leathery finish and lingering gentle tea tannins would pair splendidly with prime rib, pot roast, or brisket.

Our 'Members’ Limited Edition' is crafted from some of our finest Pinot Noir vineyards in the Willamette Valley. The 2021 vintage is primarily comprised from Jerusalem Hill Vineyard, lending to its spicy, richness due to the distinctive Woodburn sedimentary soils. Jerusalem Hill is located in the Eola-Amity Hills and is the lowest elevation AVA ranging from 200 to 300 feet.

About Jerusalem Hill Vineyard

Located 16 miles south of the Dundee Hills, Jerusalem Hill Vineyard hails from the Eola-Amity winegrowing region. This unique vineyard is rooted in rich Woodburn sedimentary soils deposited into the valley during the Missoula Floods some 13,000 to 15,000 years ago.

This vineyard site is positioned at our lowest elevation and is known for its wind exposure, making it our most-vintage-affected wine. Because of the unique aspect and terroir, the Jerusalem Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir showcases a beautiful surprise each year upon release. In cooler years, the Jerusalem Hill Vineyard tends to exhibit a forest-like character with savory and spicy notes, while in warmer years, this Pinot Noir reflects spring’s vibrant fruit and lively characteristics.
