This picturesque site now ranks as one of Domaine Serene’s highest in elevation and features Dijon clone Chardonnay in deep Jory soils.

    "The 2021 Domaine Serene ‘Triple Crown Vineyard’ Chardonnay is a stunning effort from this warm vintage. Showing great weight and underlying verve, this offers a seamless texture as this glides throughout the drinking experience. Pear and green apple flavors mark the palate, alongside toasted oak, roasted pineapple and shades of vanilla cream. Finishing exceedingly long this is a polished, rich effort that will drink well for another fifteen plus years to come. Drink 2023-2038."

    "Sporting a light lemony core with a silvery rim, the 2021 Triple Crown Vineyard Chardonnay was planted in 2013 and sees consistent sun from sunrise to sunset. Luckily, the way the vineyard is situated, the site doesn’t get too hot, partially from the winds of the Van Duzer corridor. Beautiful acidity and ripeness are expansive across the tongue - think flavors of candied peach, dried kiwi, fresh pineapple, and dried mountain herbs. Perfect acidity merges with the lush and medium to full-bodied mouthfeel. 349 cases were made."
