Our 2023 Clos du Soleil Vineyard Chardonnay is a glistening color in the glass and opens with floral aromas of gardenia, citrus, and fennel. On the palate, vibrant flavors of toasted seeds, lemon curd, and grapefruit lead into a long, creamy, and juicy finish. It pairs beautifully with halibut poached in butter, or roasted chicken with tarragon and lemon.

The Clos du Soleil vineyard was named after the sun due to its location on the east facing slope of the Evenstad Estate, and is the only one of our vineyards with an east-west row orientation planted exclusively to Dijon clone. he high exposure of sunlight lends to more focused and mineral characteristics, producing great density and persistence of flavor.
