Our 2023 Etoile Vineyard Chardonnay is bright and clear, offering complex aromas of green apple, coconut, lemon peel, banana, and a chalky, oyster-shell minerality. The palate features lemon meringue, culminating in a rich, mouth-coating finish with excellent mid-palate volume. It pairs wonderfully with classic sole meunière, or a creamy pasta dish like fettuccine alfredo with wild mushrooms.
Etoile, the “sunset vineyard,” is located high atop the renowned Dundee Hills of Oregon on the west-facing slope of the Evenstad Estate. This dry-farmed, three-acre vineyard ranges from 800 to 825 feet in elevation. Planted to Dijon clones in Jory soil, this wine exhibits the most Chablis-like profile of our Chardonnays.
