2023 Domaine Serene 'Evenstad Reserve'

The 2023 Evenstad Reserve Pinot Noir is a refreshing and elegant vintage. It's made from 100% estate-grown grapes and has a silky texture that's perfect for pairing with poultry or duck confit. The nose offers rose petals, wild strawberry, strawberry candy, confectionary, Italian fine leather, and hibiscus. On the palate, it's maraschino cherry sweet with a light body and lifted tannins. It finishes with a lovely blueberry compote and velvety texture that lingers long after the last sip.

"Carl Formaker came from Three Sticks and also worked at Marcassin and Littorai before becoming winemaker at Domaine Serene in 2023. From his inaugural vintage, the 2023 Pinot Noir Evenstad Reserve pours a brighter medium red color and immediately charms with its bright personality. Aromas of fresh berries and floral tones lead into a medium-bodied palate with refreshing purity, lovely tension, and terrific balance. Delicious now, this was one of my favorites of the tasting. Drink 2026-2038."
