Tasting Notes Upon Release:

"This wine from our Jerusalem Hill Vineyard displays many of the site driven characters that make this site special. The aroma profile is multi layered, offering notes of smoked game, black cherries, sweet baking spices, dried herbs and a hint of eucalyptus. In the mouth, the wine enters with ample sweetness balanced by dusty tannins and finishes with great length."

About Jerusalem Hill Vineyard

Located 16 miles south of the Dundee Hills, Jerusalem Hill Vineyard hails from the Eola-Amity winegrowing region. This unique vineyard is rooted in rich Woodburn sedimentary soils deposited into the valley during the Missoula Floods some 13,000 to 15,000 years ago.

This vineyard site is positioned at our lowest elevation and is known for its wind exposure, making it our most-vintage-affected wine. Because of the unique aspect and terroir, the Jerusalem Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir showcases a beautiful surprise each year upon release. In cooler years, the Jerusalem Hill Vineyard tends to exhibit a forest-like character with savory and spicy notes, while in warmer years, this Pinot Noir reflects spring’s vibrant fruit and lively characteristics.
